A Note...

... to our loyal readers.

Guy is in Sweden, currently, and Girl is in Canada. No, we did not split up, as one of you has commented, but we do come from different sides of the world and this tends to happen when you are stupid enough to get involved in a long distance relationship.

So! To those of you who are expecting this website to be kept up to date on a regular basis (even after the fact that this has never happened so far), you will be disappointed.

But! We will try to watch the same movies, and we will try to write reviews about them at some point, then try to post those reviews on a semi-timely basis... maybe.

Some of you may call this a stilted promise, but we just call it reality. Unlike Lindsay Lohan, we have our feet planted firmly in it.

MARY AND MAX

Guy’s clayview...

This movie is very bizarre but also very funny. It’s pretty much about Mary and Max who create a bond by becoming penpals. Mary is a little girl without friends and a large mole on her forehead. Max is an overweight guy that has a lot of complaints and fears with the world around him.

This movie is kinda hard to review cause it’s pretty much a montage of funny images and small stories. I have to say that thats the perfect way to go with todays youth however considering how short their attention span has become. I found it very funny and laughed a lot. Their relationship might be weird but it’s also very cute. I hope people just give themselves to this world instead of dissecting it cause they’ll have a smile on their lips throughout if they do.

Guy’s Rating: Claymation rules!

Girl’s uhmmm....

Guy is crazy. He barely laughed because he kept falling asleep! We didn’t even finish this movie. Maybe he watched it a second time without me, but I doubt it.

This movie should have been an under 20 minute short film. It would have been awesome then, but this version was way too long.

Oh, and Max doesn’t have “a lot of complaints and fears with the world around him.” He was diagnosed with Asbergers during the movie. If Guy had been awake, he would have known that.

Girl’s Rating: Cut it in half, then half again, and we have ourselves a great movie.
