A Note...

... to our loyal readers.

Guy is in Sweden, currently, and Girl is in Canada. No, we did not split up, as one of you has commented, but we do come from different sides of the world and this tends to happen when you are stupid enough to get involved in a long distance relationship.

So! To those of you who are expecting this website to be kept up to date on a regular basis (even after the fact that this has never happened so far), you will be disappointed.

But! We will try to watch the same movies, and we will try to write reviews about them at some point, then try to post those reviews on a semi-timely basis... maybe.

Some of you may call this a stilted promise, but we just call it reality. Unlike Lindsay Lohan, we have our feet planted firmly in it.

DANTE'S PEAK

Guy’s Review...

I think the biggest reason for rewatching this was the fact that this flaming inferno is now in HD. Still, I would call this a classic. It was Linda Hamilton’s last big project and it might be one of the reasons Pierce Brosnan is a superstar today. So the rise and the fall of two actors.

Everybody knows what this movie is about. Just a vulcano that decides to boil, burn and blow up some people in a nice quiet little village up in the mountains. Brosnan plays a dude that knows a bunch about these things and takes it upon himself to evacuate the village.Some listen some don’t (these people die).

All in all this movie is a fun ride and one of the better disaster movie to date. I mean why can’t the new movie of this genre just keep it simple. Bigger isn’t always better.
